Abstract

This article aims to investigate and analyze the impacts that inclusive education causes in the school and social context, since this type of education is philosophically based on valuing diversity, which is peculiar to any society. The research was carried out on bibliographic bases with a qualitative approach, allowing an expanded analysis of the theoretical and practical aspects investigated. Therefore, we sought reference authors on the subject who collaborate in the fluidity and links of ideas in the search to confirm the hypothesis that it is possible for all students to have an aptitude for learning regardless of disability. Among the authors are: VYGOTSKI (2022); MANTOAN; (2015) NUNES (2013); CORRÊA (2010) and others. Thus, we describe inclusive education in the essence of the word; in the historical aspects, going through laws and norms created over time; teacher training and the impacts themselves on the social development of students with disabilities in the school context.

Keywords: Inclusive education. Teaching and learning. Social development. Students with disabilities.
