EDUCATION AND CURRENT ISSUES

Education has undergone many transformations in recent years. Teachers, administrators, and specialists, for example, had to adapt to remote teaching models and new technologies during the pandemic in order to ensure access to education for all. School dropout rates were experienced intensely, and active student outreach became an important strategy used by schools in partnership with other institutions, such as Child Protective Services. In this issue, we received several studies focused on education and its current challenges. Researchers addressed topics related to school practices, contemporary challenges, and teacher education.
