This article was written by two teachers of Early Childhood Education, during the Latu Sensu Postgraduate Course, in Educational Sciences, who, uneasy with the educational paradigms, challenged themselves to research the contributions of childhood specialists, Piaget, Vygotsky and Wallon. As well as, the relationships between biological and social factors and the cognitive and affective aspects of human psychology. The text implies a theoretical review and the deepening of studies in this scenario, for the optimization of teaching practice.
