Dossiê Temático 2025 - Transdisciplinaridade em Saúde
Studies on interdisciplinary issues are broad and encompass multiple fields of knowledge, including health. It is observed that various sectors value this fundamental approach in the scientific literature, as reflected in academic articles, health case studies, and recommendations of best practices in health management. In the context of this dossier, interdisciplinarity cannot be reduced to a single theoretical perspective. The plurality of this concept allows each study to revisit its theoretical or practical meaning, while always maintaining the integration of knowledge.
To strengthen the construction of knowledge, it is essential to promote dialogue among different areas of Health, enabling the connection of knowledge that goes beyond disciplinary boundaries. This perspective is not exclusive to the contemporary world, but has deep roots in the history of human thought. The researchers who compose this dossier have adopted this view by bringing together different theoretical and methodological approaches, encouraging the exchange of ideas and the creation of new perspectives.
This academic dossier in the field of health aims to present a collection of extended abstracts, grounded and interdisciplinary, addressing their implications in the context of public, clinical, and/or collective health. The production of this material integrates theoretical and practical activities from the courses of the Graduate Programs (Master’s and Doctorate) of the Ivy Enber Christian University, fostering ethical, scientific, and social reflection on the contemporary challenges of the health field.
The articles included in the thematic dossier “Transdisciplinarity in Health” result from initial investigations conducted by students, under the guidance and careful review of their professors. We hope that this material will stimulate in-depth reflections on transdisciplinarity in Health and its application in different pedagogical and care settings. By proposing an innovative approach, this dossier challenges paradigms and drives significant changes in the field of health management and care.
The proposal aims not only to consolidate the learning acquired throughout the courses taken in the graduate programs in health, but also to contribute to the academic and professional debate on emerging and priority health issues. The scientific and reflective production of students plays a fundamental role in transforming health practices and policies.
The publication of an academic dossier in the field of health can be driven by several factors, including: dissemination of scientific knowledge, contribution to the advancement of science, awareness and reflection on health problems, impact on clinical practice, promotion of interdisciplinary dialogue, academic development, and social and political impact.
Thus, the publication of an academic dossier in the field of health goes beyond a simple scientific activity and can play a crucial role in improving health practices and in generating new knowledge that benefits society as a whole.
