Supervised internship in Religious Studies
the originality of the internship at the Bachelor's level in Religious Studies

This article aims to present Supervised Internship I, part of the Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies at UFPB, which represents an unprecedented initiative in this area of knowledge. It is the first internship in Brazil, within the discipline under consideration, carried out in an institution external to the University. We worked on the theme Literature and the Sacred, seeking to expand development through the Juarez Gama Batista Library, located in the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba. During the Supervised Internship, skills and competencies were developed for the advancement of Religious Studies, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, based on the theoretical foundation of Law No. 11.788/2008. With the objectives achieved, the inseparability between theory and practice was demonstrated, configuring the construction of the identity of the Religious Studies professional through the dynamic relationship between knowing and knowing how to do.
