This abstract presents the complexities that Special Education faces when attempting to integrate with the school system and the technological context. It highlights the importance of making technologies accessible to meet the special needs of individuals with some type of disability. In addition, various challenges related to the availability of appropriate resources and teacher training are discussed, as educators are often not familiar with technologies or with how to use them effectively to support students with special needs. Although technology offers several learning opportunities, it is essential to highlight the existing obstacles in order to promote effective and equitable inclusion in special education.
