Articles
All authors must keep their registration updated in the journal system, mandatorily and clearly specifying their full name, most recent academic degree and institutional affiliation, contact email, languages spoken, areas of interest, as well as the URLs of their Lattes Curriculum and ORCID profile (also linking the ORCID registration to the journal system). We also request that authors provide updated mini-biographies in the three languages, with up to 250 characters including spaces, during the submission process.
We also recommend that authors create and update profiles on international academic networks, such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, among others, in order to maintain active circulation and dissemination of their scientific production.
Text Submission
All submitted manuscripts must carefully follow the instructions contained in all sections of the Ivy Enber Scientific Journal website and be aligned with the focus and scope of IES, which must be explicit from the title/subtitle, keywords, and abstract of the texts.
Original articles must be between 15 and 25 pages in length (including title, abstracts, keywords, body text, footnotes, and references). Submissions must follow all instructions provided in the submission template file. The file must be submitted in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF format (provided it does not exceed 2 MB). Pages must be in A4 size with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
The article must contain the following structural items: Original title and translated titles (all manuscripts must include titles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, regardless of the main language of the text); Original abstract and translated abstracts, with their respective keywords (all manuscripts must include abstracts and keywords in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, regardless of the main language of the text), containing a maximum of 1,000 characters including spaces (typed with single line spacing, Times New Roman font, size 10); Subheadings (optional, but recommended, especially when there are well-defined sections throughout the text and to mark the final considerations); References. We emphasize the importance of using an up-to-date bibliography. We suggest the use of articles published in journals within the references.
All internet page addresses cited in the manuscript must be verified (updated), active, and clickable (hyperlinks).
Figures, charts, and tables must be inserted throughout the text (and not only at the end). Figures must also be submitted as separate files, in JPG format and with a resolution between 200–300 dpi.
At the time of submission, indicate the Section to which the manuscript should be directed: whether it is an Article or a Review (both for submissions to regular continuous-flow issues); or a submission directed to a Thematic Dossier (when there is an open special call).
Submission metadata must be fully completed in all three languages (Portuguese, English, and Spanish).
