In order to examine the nuances, debates, discussions, and educational transformations promoted by civil society during this period, this dossier was conceived with the purpose of fostering dialogue and disseminating scholarly research. Accordingly, the dossier is entitled "The Bicentennial of Brazilian Independence and Education: Influences on Educational Policies, Challenges, Setbacks, and Advances."

Dossier 2023.2: Literature and the Sacred

The purpose of this dossier is to bring together studies in which manifestations of the sacred are expressed poetically through their multiple meanings and their representations in literary art. As explained by Mircea Eliade (1972), myth and the sacred are inseparable; therefore, since the origin of poiesis, the transcendent has been materialized through poetic logos. Accordingly, we welcome interpretative studies on myth and literature that are related to the sacred as an expression of its epiphanic nature.

Keywords: Literature. Myth. Sacred.

Coordinators:
Prof. Dr. Michelle Bianca Santos Dantas (UFPB);
Prof. Dr. Kelly Thaysy Lopes Nascimento (ENBER).

Submission deadline: October 30, 2023.
